Site Record

An earthwork structure defined on three sides by broad, low, banks. It measures a maximum of 26m north northeast-south southeast by 7m. The lower, southern end is open and the eastern bank is longer than the west by 5m. The northern end is "U" shaped. The ground level within the feature is slightly lower than the external ground level. The hummocky nature of the surrounding ground also continues over the banks and within the feature. Vegetation cover in January 2008 was short grass. Platform, NPRN 500161 lies c. 20m to the southwest. J.J. Hall, Trysor, 13 January 2008
