Site Record

An earthwork platform cut into a gentle southwest facing slope. Overall, it measured 23.5m north northeast-south southwest by 7m. The level area of the platform was 19m long with a change in level of0.20m half way along it. The fan was 0.75m high and cut back into the slope for 2.5m. The apron was 3m wide and 0.75m high. The hummocky nature of the surrounding ground also continues over the platform. Vegetation cover in January 2008 was short grass. Platform, NPRN 500160 lies c. 20m to the northeast. J.J.
