Site Record

A low earthwork bank on the top of Pen Waun, just to the south of Pen Waun Pool. It was traced form SO0802651602 to SO 0804051681. The ground surface of the whole area is very hummocky. During fieldwork in January 2008 it was thought that the bank may have gone on to SO0803551712. However the ground surface was very difficult to read and looking at aerial photographs again it looks like the bank turned at SO 0840651681 to run westwards. J.J. Hall, Trysor, 13 January 2008
