A quarry, approximately 15m square, cut into the southwest facing slope above Cwmblaenerw Brook. The quarry is shown on the 1st edition 1:10560 Ordnance Survey map of 1891 and marked as "Old Quarry" Vegetation cover in August 2007 was bracken. J.J. Hall, Trysor, 10 March 2008
