Description
Curving bank with inner ditch, 80m long, orientated NNW-SSE on a steep slope N of the Ceunant Brook. The bank is 0.3m high, the ditch 1.5 - 2m wide and sometimes diffuse. The field boundary fades out on ridge of hill, where there is a small quarry (nprn 500296) and continues down to the Ceunant. The date of the boundary is uncertain, but it is cut by a C19 track (NPRN 500446) and is not related to other field banks found at Bwlch Penbarra (nprn 500290, 500288).
Recorded as part of Uplands Initiative Survey. W B Horton, Hayman and Horton, 11/09/2007.
