A series of two small quarry scoops at the base of a slope adjacent to the south east end of field bank NPRN 500862. The quarried area is 10 m long and 4 m across with a quarried face 1.5 m deep. There is a spoil heap 10 m to the east. Material in the vicinity suggests that the quarry was specifically to acquire slabs. Methodology: 30 m transect survey. Positional accuracy: less than 10 m.
