Part of slate quarry complex (NPRN 402787). A substantial slot cut into the hill slope, 80 m long in total, 6 m across, 15 m in depth, aligned north west to south east. At the inner south east end of the cut, for a distance of 20 m, the base of the feature is much higher suggesting there were two separate levels into the hill slope here.
