Part of slate quarry (NPRN 402787). A 15 m long, 4 m wide and 4 m deep slot cut into the hill slope to the south west of level (NPRN 500882). Spoil mounds along the edges of the cut. The small size of this cut and minimal spoil suggests it is a trial level only. Methodology: 30 m transect survey. Positional accuracy: less than 10 m. Tolerance of accuracy: +/- 5m. K.
