A stand of 4 trees consisting of 2 different types, in an enclosure approx 15m square. It is bound by a drystone retaining wall up to 0.5m high on N side, which faces a track (NPRN 500284). Bound by a field bank on S side (NPRN 500285). On E side is a pronounced ditch 2m wide and 0.5m deep, with an outer bank 3m wide and up to 0.3m high. On W side, similar ditch, up to 3m wide and 0.3m deep, but not well-preserved; bank covered in dense bracken, visible in low light only. Shown on 1st ed OS of 1879.
