Description
The site was initially recorded as a series of small sub-rectangular platform houses or enclosures that were possibly associated with goats (HER 5570). OA North site visit. The site consists of a small discrete group of four rectangular domestic huts, the largest of which measure 8m in length and 4m in width. The walls remain to a height of 1.8m. There are two smaller drystone structures that may have been milking enclosures, each with dimensions of 4m long by 2m wide. The structures cover an area of some 100m square and are overgrown and mostly collapsed with walls remaining to just lower foundation levels. P.J. Schofield, OA North, 20th December 2007
