A sub-square drystone wash fold measuring 5m square. There is drove walls extending toward the south-east for 10m. The fold utilises a double sluice gate and dam to create a wash pond on the west side. It is shown on both the 1st Edition and current OS mapping. P.J. Schofield, OA North, 22nd January 2008
