Description
The three marker stones are located on the west side of a path. The stones stand side by side, facing east and west. The north one is 0.6 metres high, 0.3 metres wide and 0.1 metre thick. It has an arched top. It has three lines of script on its east face. The top two lines begin with M, but the words are illegible. The bottom line is a date, probably 1825. The middle stone is 0.5 metres high, 0.5 metres wide and roughly 0.12 metres thick. The stone has an arched top, and its east face has flaked off. The west face has two lines of script, both being illegible, though the bottom one appears to be a single, large letter. The south stone is 0.4 metres high, 0.5 metres wide and 0.08 metres thick. It has an arched top. On the east face there are two lines of script, top: D OF B; and bottom: G.M. On the west side are three lines of script: Top: DINAS; middle: Sir J. Bailey Bant MP; and bottom: 1847. The date is underscored, and has been well preserved by vegetation covering it. The ground cover was heather at the time of survey. N.A.
