Description
Located in a stream valley. The quarry is irregular in shape. It is excavated into a slope and the height of the quarried face is 5m and it is 25m long. It would appear that the quarry was formed to extract walling stone. The working area was kept clear by walls built against the tips. Roseveare, A.C. & N.A. Vaughan, ArchaeoPhysica Ltd, 18/04/2007
