A disused rain gauge in the Mytalog Fawr valley, consisting of a circular earthwork ring, defined by a low earth bank 1m wide, enclosing an area of 2.75m diameter. In the centre of this area is a hollow, in which a copper pot still stands. The earthwork ring is itself enclosed within a rectilinear fenced enclosure, the wooden posts and wire fence of which were much decayed when seen in 2009. When visited in May 2009 the area was used for rough grazing and vegetation cover was grass and reeds. J.J. Hall, Trysor, 8 September 2009
