Description
The remains of a drystone, rectangular structure on a gently sloping natural terrace in the upper reaches of a steep stream valley. The structure measured 8m west southwest to east northeast by 4.5m externally. The grass-covered wall bases were spread up to 1m wide but only 0.2m high. Some stone was visible through the turf. Internally the structure was divided into two with edge set stones marking the dividing wall line. The west southwest cell was slightly larger being 3.5m by 2.5m, the east northeast cell was 2.5m by 2.5m. J.J. Hall, Trysor, 24 November 2009
