A horseshoe-shaped hollow on the southeast facing slope formerly above Nant y Beddau stream but now close to the edge of the Claerwen reservoir. The western end and southern side were terraced into the slope, and the northern side was defined by a cast up bank. The eastern end was open. J.J. Hall, Trysor, 24 November 2009
