A large linear slate quarry trial located to the west of Chwarel Fawr quarry. It measures 40m long by 6m-7m wide and 4m deep and is cut into the hillside below the quarry tips (NPRN 505594) and is shown on both the OS 1st Edition and current mapping. P.J. Schofield, OANorth, 7th June 2007
