Site Record

A small mining building located on the spoil heap to the west of the large quarry trial (NPRN 505595). It is constructed of quarried slate and measures approximately 5m long by 4m wide with walls standing up to 0.75m high. Part of the angled slate roof survives along with a small hearth in the southern wall. P.J. Schofield, OANorth, 7th June 2007
