Sheep fold marked on both the OS 1st Edition and current mapping. It is three celled and the overall area measures 25m long by 10m wide with walls surviving to a height of 1.5m. The central cell measures 6m long by 4m wide and may possibly have once been part of a small cottage or outbuilding. Its southern wall appears to have been a gable end but there is no surviving evidence of any doors or windows. P.J. Schofield, OANorth, 13th June 2007
