Site Record

A tramway running in a south-east/north-west orientation from Chwarel Bwlch-y-Groes (NPRN 400672) in the south to a series of inclined planes associated with the Glyn Rhonwy slate quarry complex (NPRN 400675). It is slightly banked and measures approximately 410m long by 3m wide and up to 0.5m high. The site is marked on both the OS 1st Edition and current mapping. North end is SH5593960347.
