A rectangular slate-built winder house sat at the head of an inclined plane (NPRN 505737) and adjacent to Cook and Ddol quarry. The building measures 5m long by 4m wide and both gable end walls survive almost to full height (2m). P.J. Schofield, OANorth, 27th June 2007
