Site Record

Tramway running on a south/north orientation for 210m between Ffridd-glyn (Upper) slate quarry (NPRN 505532) in the south towards inclined planes on the northern end. The site survives as a large slate spoil constructed embankment measuring up to 12m wide at its base and 3.5m wide at the summit. The site is shown on the RCAHMW Aerial Photographic interpretation and is marked on both the OS 1st Edition and current mapping. South end is SH5614960250. North end is SH5613860459. P.J.
