A single storey three celled miners cottage measuring 17m long by 7m wide. The building survives unroofed to full gable height with walls 0.6m wide and 1.8m high. The two southernmost cells have two blocked internal doorways. There is also a possible structure or division within the north-west corner of the northern most cell. No roof is present and walls remain to height of 1.8m and 0.5m thick. The site is marked on both the OS 1st Edition and current mapping. P.J. Schofield, OANorth, 30th January 2008
