A sub-rectangular scree-built platform of unknown function but associated with the copper mine (NPRN 33768). The structure measures 12m long by 7m wide and is raised up to 2m high on the northern (downslope) side. The structure is mostly obscured by scree that has fallen from above. There is evidence that water may flow over/through it although it is unclear whether it is the remains of a wheel pit. P.J. Schofield, OANorth, 30th January 2008
