Description
A rectangular building with garden to fore and small extensions to its south, east and northern side is shown on OS 1st edition mapping - the 'Beaufort Arms'. The Beaufort had a porch over the front door and both downstairs rooms had open fireplaces. A large lean-to was built on the sea-facing wall, a smaller one built on its side wall. There was also an adjacent bakehouse. The building continued in use as a public house until the 1940s and is reported to have been extensively modernised as a private dwelling.
