Possible coal level, although not shown on the historic OS maps. It is a 15m long cutting N-S into the hillside, by 4m wide and 2m deep. The entrance has been obscured by subsidence. Spoil is below the downhill end (nprn 507298). Uphill are pits (nprn 507305) caused by collapse of underground working.
