Small coal level shown on the 1st ed county OS map, apparently when still working, although no associated tracks or tramways are indicated on the map. The site is a cutting 15m long N-S, by 4m wide and 2m deep at the uphill end. Some scattered spoil is at the downhill end, suggesting that this was a shortlived and unsuccessful working.
