C19 coal level marked on the 1st ed county OS map, and marked as 'old coal level' on the 3rd ed. It survives in the form of a narrow cutting, grass-covered but with some rubble-stone revetment, 6m long N-S, 1-1.5m wide and 1m deep. From the lower end a short track joins a longer trackway or tramway immediately above (nprn 507408).
