n existence by 1844 when the adjacent field, known as Cae Ffald, is shown on the 1844 Tithe map. Belonged to Bwllfa Farm. Large sheepfold comprising 3 rectangular cells, all of C19 drystone walls with pitched coping stones, up to 2m high although mostly slightly fallen and up to 1-1.5m high. The cells have internal dimensions of 15m E-W by 9m, 5m E-W by 7m and 4m E-W by 8m. Shown in present form on the 1st ed county OS map. Attached field walls are probably contemporary with the fold.
