Early C20 coal level first shown on the 3rd ed county OS map above Abergorky Colliery, probably a trial. It survives as a linear depression 15m NW-SE by 4m wide and 1.5m deep, but poor drainage has meant that the original lines of the cutting have been lost. There is a spoil mound at the downhill end.
