Site associated with Tirherbert Colliery, 1914-58 (nprn 507791). Of the fan house, a small fan has survived in a steel casing, next to the brick evasee, which is 3x1.5m in plan and 5m high. The remainder of the building survives only at ground level, and was brick-built, 3x4m in plan.
