Area of deep ditches, between ridges, either side of a field bank (nprn 509879). On the W side of the bank the ditches are NW-SE, but on the E side of the bank they are NE-SW. Ridges between the ditches are 0.3-0.4m high, with ditches 2m apart. These look like cultivation ridges (or lazy beds?) but are exceptionally deep compared with other areas of surviving cultivation ridges. Probably part of a farmstead (nprn 509943).
