C19 manganese mine, at which activity had ceased by the time of the 1888 OS map. The S facing entrance leads into a rock-cut level in the steep S-facing side of Moel Llyfnant, 50m below its summit. The entrance is 1.7m high and 1.2m wide, and has a rubble-stone revetment wall on its W side. The level is 13m long and leads to a plugged shaft. The shaft is said to have been 100 feet deep, leading to a level 250 feet long. One of a complex of manganese workings on Moel Llyfnant (nprn 511331).
