A clay walled crog-loft cottage of c.1800. The walls are a mixture of clay, straw and stone chips which rest on a stone plinth. The roof dates to the late 19th century and is low-pitched and of slate. Evidence suggests the original wall was thatch and of steeper pitch. Inside it originally had a wickerwork fireplace hood; now destroyed.
