Description
Estate boundary stone also marking the border of Llanfor and Llanwddyn parishes. A roughly worked monolith 1.2m high, by 0.4m wide and 0.1m thick. The N side is inscribed 'HR'; the S side is inscribed 'WWW 1819'. One of 2 such stones (the other is nprn 513739). The initials refer to Sir Watkin Williams Wynn (1772-1840) and probably to Henry Richardson, who owned neighbouring farms at the time of the 1847 Llanfor Tithe survey.
Recorded as part of Uplands Initiative Survey. R Hayman, H&H, 20/01/2011.
