Site Record

A single celled rectangular barn or byre that is possibly shown as roofed and as a 'sheep fold' on the 1st Edition OS mapping. It measures approximately 12m long by 6m wide. There are well constructed double thickness walls up to 0.9m wide and full single storey gable ends high. It has a door on the south elevation and a window on the north elevation. It has an adjacent rectangular yard on the north-west which measures 15m long by 10m wide. P.J.Schofield, OANorth, 9th January 2009.
