Site Record

A single celled ancillary structure that is associated with a deserted rural settlement (NPRN 514980). The structure is platformed and measures approximately 9m long by 6m wide with large orthostatic stone foundations and some walling standing up to 0.8m wide by 1m high on the east end. The structure is cut perpendicularly into the hillslope and is set at the junction/corner of a linear boundary (NPRN 514952). P.J.Schofield, OANorth, 24th February 2009.
