Description
Archaeological remains associated with the loss of this vessel are not confirmed as present at this location, but may be in the vicinity.

Event and Historical Information:
The LIZZIE EDITH was a wooden schooner belonging to the port of Truro and was carrying a cargo of coal at time of loss. During a violent north-northeasterly gale in January 1911, the schooner's anchors dragged and it was driven close to the rocks at the southern side of the bay. The Fishguard lifeboat CHARTERHOUSE managed to take off the crew before the schooner sank.
