There are now no remains to be seen, however there was a roughly circular platform, about 7.5m in diameter on the north-west facing slope is where the pit was dug to burn the wreckage.

The remains of this aircraft are designated as a Protected Place under the Protection of Military Remains Act 1986. The Act makes it an offence to interfere with the wreckage of any crashed, sunken or stranded military aircraft without a licence. Event and Historical Information:
This Battle was assigned to 9 BGS and was being flown by Sgt T Forbes and Sgt N V Pelno. The aircraft was on a cross-country flight from Penrhos to Stormy Down, but entered a thick band of coastal mist and was forced to land near the summit of Carn Bica, Preseli Hills. The aircraft was partially salvaged by 50 MU based at Cowly (e.g. the Merlin engine and instruments). The remainder was burnt/buried.
