The remains of this aircraft are designated as a Protected Place under the Protection of Military Remains Act 1986. The Act makes it an offence to interfere with the wreckage of any crashed, sunken or stranded military aircraft without a licence. Event and Historical Information:
This Henley's service life included assignments to 3 ATS, 4 BGS, 1 AACU and 1605 Flight. On 4 February 1943, the aircraft crashed on the shore 3 miles north of Tywyn.
