Event and Historical Information:
This Warwick was built by Vickers of Weybridge for air sea rescue. It was assigned to 281 Squadron. The aircraft was circling a dinghy in order to drop a lifeboat when it stalled and spun into the sea off Puffin Island on 26 April 1944.
