Although not precisely located on the seabed, any remains of this aircraft are designated as a Controlled Site under the Protection of Military Remains Act 1986. For further information on this Act and its administration with regard to aircraft, please contact the Joint Casualty and Compassionate Centre, RAF Innsworth, Gloucester, GL3 1RZ.

Event and Historical Information:
This Liberator was built by Consolidated to fulfil order BSC Requisition 141. It service life included assignments to 311 and 547 Squadrons. On 26 April 1944, the aircraft flew into the sea, 9 miles north of Fishguard, at night during anti-submarine training.
