A circular limekiln is marked on the 1st edition of the OS 25” map on the eastern side of Sandyhill Pill within Sandy Haven Creek.
Field observation included in the HER entry (DAT34474) in 1997 reported the lime kiln to be stone built with one side partially collapsed. Modern aerial photography suggested that it has since been removed.
