A circular limekiln is marked on the 1st edition of the OS 25” map at the western end of Middlekilns Road on the west bank of Sandy Haven Creek.

Field observations included in the HER entry (DAT34473) reported that the kiln could not be found in 1997. Site inspection by RCAHMW in October 2022 further indicates that the lime kiln is no longer present as a coherent structure, with any remains being totally overgrown.
