A triangular shaped hollow, 7 metres in diameter, with a linear mound, 7 metres long, on its western side. In December 2011 the vegetation cover was reeds in the hollow and grass on the mound. Although this could have been a quarry, it was thought that it was a pond, one of several on this part of the common. J.J. Hall, Trysor, 6 December 2011
