An aerial ropeway, NPRN 516847, connected the tips of the Dyffryn Rhondda colliery, NPRN 402097, with the colliery itself, NPRN 80557. The aerial ropeway and the colliery have now gone, just the tips remaining but at SS8416795575 are two concrete blocks, 1 metre square and 3.5 metres apart, thought to be stanchion bases for the ropeway.
