Lead mine marked as disused on the 1887 OS map, sunk in the 1850s by John Taylor & Sons and probably only active for a brief period. The shaft is open, protected only by a dilapidated fence, and is 5m diameter, cut through bedrock. No surface structures are discernible in what is now improved pasture.
