Description
Trial trench oriented WNW-ESE, 19m long, 3m wide and 1m deep; vertical rock face on N side, part obscured by vegetation.
This trial was possibly cut in the 1870s by Captain Edward Williams of Dylife, who opened a copper mine in a deep ravine to the S. Trials are said to have been dug along the projected line of the copper ore-bearing lode, which ran towards the plateau of the hill.
