Site Record

OS 1st edition 25in mapping shows the circular depression containing the coal shaft with on the northern side. A shaft and possible a second engine house are shown to the east. A tramroad heads southeast to Landshipping Quay (NPRN 518775). Modern aerial photography shows a clump of trees in the corner of a ploughed field.
