A broad track is shown leading northeast from the foreshore to Williamston Park (The Ship Public House) on OS 2st edition mapping. All Wales LiDAR suggests a cutting and this was possibly one of the ways in which stone from Barleyhat Old Quarry was also exported. Modern aerial photography shows a small private landing stage.
